People of the Book: Local Jewish Authors Spice Up the CBS Food Faire

Whether you are interested in America’s favorite pastime, baseball, or wonder what it might be like to grow up in Israel and the USA, or you just love a good spy novel, there will be something for everyone’s “taste” at the CBS Authors’ Corner during this year’s Food Faire.  Please join local authors: Mike Luery whose book, Baseball Between Us, chronicles a father-son journey to 32 ballparks in 16 years; Karen Levy whose memoir, My Father’s Gardens, captures the feelings and sensual experiences of growing up in two very different settings–here and in Israel; and Barry Broad whose second novel, Requiem of the Damned, partners two spies, one from Mossad and the other from the CIA, in the dynamic cold war over an illegal trade in rare metals.

All three authors will be available to chat with you and sign copies of their books.  One cannot live by bread alone, so after you’ve had a nosh, visit our very own “People of the Book” at the CBS Authors’ Corner.
